Abstract: SECTIONS 4 AND 11 OF THE NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH ACT (P.L. 79-396), AS AMENDED, AUTHORIZES FUNDING FOR THE NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM (NSLP). THE REGULATIONS SUBMITTED WITH THIS PROPOSAL SET FORTH POLICI FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE NSLP BY STATE AGENCIES AND FOR ITS OPERATION BY LOCAL LEVEL ORGANIZATIONS. THE PROPOSED REQUIREMENT IS INTENDED TO REDUCE EXCESSIVE ADMINISTRATIVE PAPERWORK BURDENS.
