Abstract: THESE FOCUS GROUP INTERVIEWS ARE NECESSARY TO EVALUATE HOW EFFECTIVE THE IRS INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOTAPE IS IN ASSSISTING TAXPAYERS TO PREPARE THEIR TAX RETURN IN ADDITION TO IDENTIFYING AREAS WHICH REQUIR CHANGE. THESE RESULTS WILL PROVIDE GUIDANCE FOR FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS TO THE VIDEOTAPE.
