ENVIRONMENTAL ADMINISTRATIVE LAW,
PESTICIDES/APPLICATOR CERTIFICATION THE FEDERAL INSECTICIDE,
FUNGICIDE, AND RODENTICIDE ACT REQUIRES PESTICIDES TO BE CLASSIFIED
AS GENERAL OR RESTRICTED USE. RESTRICTED USE PESTICIDES CAN ONLY BE
USED BY OR UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A CERTIFIED APPLICATOR.
APPROXIMATELY ONE MILLION FARMERS (PRIVATE APPLICATORS) AND 350,000
COMMERCIAL APPLICATORS ARE USING RESTRICTED USE
PESTICIDES.

the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
