Abstract: LOCAL GOVERNMENTS PROVIDE INFORMATION NECESSARY TO: (1) EVALUATE UDAG PROJECT APPLICATIONS, (2) MONITOR PROGRESS OF FUNDED PROJECTS, AND (3) CLOSEOUT FUNDED PROJECTS. ACTION GRANTS ASSIST CITIES AND URBAN COUNTI WHICH ARE EXPERIENCING SEVERE ECONOMIC DISTRESS TO HELP STIMULATE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES NEEDED TO AID IN ECONOMIC RECOVERY.
