Abstract: THIS REPORT IS REQUIRED TO PERMIT THE FEDERAL RESERVE TO MONITOR FOREIGN INVESTMENTS BY MEMBER BANKS, BANK HOLDING COMPANIES AND EDGE AND AGREEMENT CORPORATIONS. IT IS USED TO NOTIFY THE FEDERAL RESERVE OF FOREIGN INVESTMENT CHANGES AND TO PROVIDE A BASIS FOR UPDATING THE SYSTEM'S INFORMATION ON FOREIGN INVESTMENTS.
