Abstract: THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IS NEEDED AND USED TO EVALUATE REQUESTS FOR IMPORTATION OF ORGANISMS, VECTORS AND CONTROLLED MATERIALS IN ORDER TO DETERMINE IF SUCH MATERIALS CAN BE IMPORTED SAFELY WITHOUT INTRODUCING FOREIGN ANIMAL DISEASES. THE INFORMATION IS ALSO USED TO RECORD TREATMENT OF SUCH MATERIALS. THE AFFECTED PUBLIC IS RESEARCHERS AND BUSINESSES.
