Approved for use
through 7/92 under the conditions that NIDA: 1) adds the third
matrix from the 1990 NDATUS survey identifying clients with drug
and alcohol comorbidities. In this submission, NIDA failed to
provide adequate evidence that the 1990 NDATUS results have serious
statistical shortcomings that would be addressed by deleting this
comorbidity matrix, and 2) fully rsponds to OMB's 7/20/90 clearance
remarks and includes in its analysis state-by-state tables
highlighting significant changes in reporting of client alcohol and
drug diagnosis and treatment.
