addition, NEA has agreed to meet the following conditions: -- Upon
the next clearance request for this application, NEA shall analyze
the effects of requiring five copies of English translations f
non-English manuscripts, in terms of applicant burden, changes in
the applicant pool, and kinds of applications that receive awards.
Continuation of this requirement will be based on the absence of a
bia against applicants who lack resources to submit high-quality
translations. -- The next information collection submitted by NEA
for PRA review sha include language assuring that applicants
consent to having their name released during open sessions of the
National Council of the Arts, to ensure that future NEA submissions
conform fully with the PrivacyAct.
