Abstract: THE INFORMATION COLLECTED BY USE OF FORM SSA-2574 IS NEEDED TO DETERMINE WHETHER FUNDS IN A JOINT BANK ACCOUNT BELONG TO THE SSI APPLICANT RECIPIENT AND TO ENSURE THAT THE INDIVIDUAL'S RESOURCES DO NOT EXCEED THE ALLOWABLE LIMITS. THE AFFECTED PUBLIC IS COMPRISED OF APPLICANTS FOR AND RECIPIENTS OF SSI BENEFITS.
