Abstract: THE CLEAN AIR ACT, AS AMENDED, REQUIRES REFORMULATED GASOLINE REGULATIONS WHICH MUST PROVIDE FOR CLEANER GASOLINE TO 9 MANDATORY AREAS AND PROHIBIT DIRTIER THAN 1990 GASOLINE IN OTHER AREAS. RECORDS AND REPORTS MUST BE USED TO DETERMINE CORRECT BLENDS, ON AVERAGE, AND ASSURE CORRECT USE OF CREDITS BY REFINERS, IMPORTERS AND SOME DISTRIBUTERS.
