Abstract: TO DETERMINE THE POTENTIAL RECREATION BENEFITS AND ECONOMIC IMPACTS ASSOCIATED WITH NEW NAVIGATION LOCKS IN FULFILLMENT OF THE CRITERIA IN ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL PRINCIPLES AND GUIDELINES FOR WATER AND RELATED LAND RESOURCES IMPLEMENTATION STUDIES. THIS WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED USING BOTH THE CONTINGENCY VALUATION AND TRAVEL COST METHODS.
