this paperwork reflects the increases in recordkeeping and
reporting burden in the Coordinated Review Effort final regulation.
FNS will amend the NSLP paperwork, OMB # 0584-0006 to reflect the
corresponding reductions in burden. When this and the NSLP
paperwork expire simultaneously in 9-92, FNS will combine the two
collections.

SECTIONS 4 AND 11 OF THE NATIONAL
SCHOOL LUNCH ACT (NSLA), (P.L. 79-39 AS AMENDED AUTHORIZES FUNDING
FOR THE NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM (NSLP). THE REGULATIONS
SUBMITTED WITH THIS FINAL RULE SET FORTH POLICIES FOR THE
ADMINISTRATION OF THE NSLP STATE AGENCIES AND FOR IT OPERATION BY
LOCAL LEVEL ORGANIZATIONS. THESE FINAL RULE REQUIREMENTS WILL
CREATE A UNIFIED FEDERAL AND STATE SYSTEM TO EFFECTIVELY
MONITOR
