Terms of Clearance: Approved as amended on September 9, and 25, 30, 1991. This approval i with the condition that IRS shall report to OMB at the completion of t 1992 tax filing season on the number of Schedule EIC's completed by: 1) IRS, including separate totals for schedules completed at taxpayer request, and those for which no EIC was filed, 2) taxpayers, and 3) ta preparers. Also, the report should include a summary of filing errors found by IRS for each part of the schedule. Finally, the report should include other available information concerning the degree of difficulty experienced by taxpayers. The number of responses has been corrected to take out the double counting of responses resulting from the separate listing of the burde for Schedule 4, Parts III and IV. You may omit printing the expiration date on this form. Also, you may continue to use previous versions of this form.
