This ICR
associated with the Discharge Monitoring Report is approved until
October 1994 subject to the following conditions: (1) EPA shall
continue efforts to reduce burden for permitees with low risk
releases or low probability of exceeding permit limits and (2) EPA
shall submit a revised estimate of the burden associated with storm
water monitoring by March 1992. The revised estimates should
reflect new estimates of the number of facilities that must monitor
based on final analysis in the storm water general permit rule or
base on any new information that becomes available to EPA. In
addition, EPA should focus its efforts on reducing or eliminating
burden for those facilities that have a low probability of
releasing contaminated storm water into municipal sewer systems.
EPA shall summarize all efforts it has undertaken to reduce
unnecessary monitori and reporting burden.
