Terms of Clearance: This ICR associated with the proposed TSDF is not approved because it fails to meet the 5 CFR Part 1320 requirements (Paperwork Reduction Ac ). It hasn't been shown that the information needed will be collected the least burdensome manner. For example, the weekly recording of inspection data may not be the least burdensome way to facilitate compliance, and less frequent recording was not considered. The practical utility of the information has also not been adequately demonstrtated; the recording of emissions control equipment performanc and operating logs and files for the sake of EPA enforcement is not a thorough consideration of utility. When resubmitting please refer to OMB Comment Number 2060-0224. OMB ACTION: Not approved and continue/comment filed (Sec. 3504(h) action.

Abstract: EPA IS PROPOSING STANDARDS TO CONTROL ORGANIC AIR EMISSIONS FROM HAZARDOUS WASTE TREATMENT, STORAGE, AND DISPOSAL FACILITIES (TSDF) TO PROTECT HUMAN HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT. INFORMATION COLLECTION IS NEEDED TO DETERMINE APPLICABILITY OF THE STANDARDS TO A PARTICULAR TSDF UNIT AND, IF SO, TO ENSURE THE STANDARDS ARE PROPERLY AND CONTINUOUSLY IMPLEMENTED.
