Abstract: THE INTERNATIONAL PRICE PROGRAM INDEXES, A PRIMARY ECONOMIC INDICATOR, ARE USED AS: MEASURES OF MOVEMENT IN INTERNATIONAL PRICES, INDICATORS OF INFLATIONARY TRENDS IN THE ECONOMY, SOURCE OF INFORMATION USED TO DETERMINE U.S. MONETARY, FISCAL, TRADE AND COMMERCIAL POLICIES.
