THIS STUDY, WHICH WILL AFFECT THE POPULATION OF THE UNITED STATES, IS NECESSARY TO DETERMINE THE PREVALENCE OF CIGARETTE, ALCOHOL, AND LICIT AND ILLICIT DRUG USE. THE RESULTS WILL BE USED BY NIDA, ONDCP, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, CONCERNED ORGANIZATION AND INDIVIDUALS TO DIRECT THEIR ACTIVITIES AND ESTABLISH POLICY.
