Abstract: THE RULE WILL PROHIBIT SALES OF DEBT SECURITIES OF A SAVINGS ASSOCIATI OR ITS AFFILIATE AT A SAVINGS ASSOCIATION'S OFFICES. IT ALSO REQUIRES POTENTIAL PURCHASERS TO BE GIVEN AND TO SIGN AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FORM BEFORE THE PURCHASE OF EQUITY SECURITIES. IT ALSO ALLOWS SAVINGS ASSOCIATIONS TO SEEK A WAIVER OF THESE REQUIREMENTS.
