Abstract: A 1991 FILING SEASON TEST OF THE FORM 1040EZ-1 WAS CONDUCTED AMONG 3,928 TEXAS TAXPAYERS. THIS SURVEY OF A SAMPLE OF APPROXIMATELY 2,100 OF THEM WILL ASCERTAIN THEIR REACTIONS TO THE NEW FORM AND ESTIMATE THE AMOUNT OF BURDEN TO BE SAVED THROUGH USE OF THE NEW FORM.
