Terms of Clearance: Approved as amended by ED's 1/10/91 memorandum to OMB. Approval is granted for one year, pending the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act and the development of subsequent regulations for this program. ED has indicated that such regulations will propose a definition of "underrepresented in graduate education." For the next year, this application shall indicate that successful grantees must provide the definition they use for this term with their performance report, in light of the statutory requirement that projects serve underrepresented groups.
