Abstract: IN RESPONSE TO A COURT-ORDERED REMAND, THE OFFICE OF WATER MAKES REVISIONS TO 40 CFR 13 WHICH WILL REQUIRE THE STATES TO IDENTIFY POINT SOURCES DISCHARGING PRIORITY POLLUTANTS INTO IMPAIRED WATERBODIES PREVIOUSLY LISTED ON THE 304(1) LONG LISTS AND MINI-LISTS. THE STATES WILL ALSO IDENTIFY THE AMOUNT OF TOXICS RELEASED BY THE POINT SOURCES. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED TO TARGET POINT SOURCES IN NEED OF
