Abstract: FSIS SEEKS TO DETERMINE THE MERITS OF HACCP APPLICATIONS IN MEAT AND POULTRY ACTIVITIES. WE PROPOSE TO CONDUCT WORKSHOPS TO SEE IF WE CAN DESIGN INSPECTION MODELS BASED ON HACCP PRINCIPLES AND IF THOSE MODELS CAN BE MORE PRODUCTIVE THAN THE TRADITIONAL INSPECTION METHODS.
