Abstract: FACILITY OWNERS AND OPERATORS THAT TREAT, STORE, OR DISPOSE OF HAZARDO WASTES WILL SUBMIT DATA ANNUALLY OR PERIODICALLY WHEN CONTAMINATION HAS BEEN DETECTED. MONITORING OF LAND DISPOSAL FACILITIES FOR GROUND-WATER CONTAMINATION WILL IDENTIFY THE EXISTENCE AND EXTENT OF CONTAMINATION AT AN EARLY STAGE SO THAT RESTORATION OF GROUND-WATER QUALITY AT A LOWER COST WILL BE POSSIBLE.
