THE INFORMATION COLLECTED WILL BE USED TO DEVELOP RELIABLE DATA CONCERNING THE EXPECTED EVACUATION RESPONSE OF THE PUBLIC VULNERABLE TO HURRICANE HAZARDS. THIS DATA IS NEEDED IN ORDER TO ESTIMATE THE TIME NECESSARY TO EVACUATE THE PUBLIC IN THE FACE OF VARIOUS HURRICANE SCENARIOS AND WILL BE USED BY STATE AND LOCAL OFFICIALS TO PREPARE HURRICANE EVACUATION PLANS.
