Approved through February 1993 to provide time for the Department to issue final regulations (or additional proposed regulations) in which Customs will respond to public comments. We note that, as published, the regulations did not contain a Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) notice Since the information collections were the major topic of these regulations, we believe that the collections would not have been overlooked by the affected public. However, we are concerned that the PRA notice not be overlooked in the publication of other Departmental regulations. To minimize this possibility, we request that the Department review its procedures for ensuring that the proper PRA noti is included in all regulations at the time of publication.
