Terms of Clearance: This ICR is approved for three years. Before submitting this ICR for renewal, EPA shall seek help from the public, including respondents, t develop more accurate burden estimates for the following reporting items: completion of the CQA plan; ALR reporting, especially the dete mination of size, location, and cause of any leak, and the determinati of the short-term and long-term actions necessary to mitigate the leak and the remediation determination analyses. EPA shall document these efforts and submit a written report to OMB on this analysis.

Abstract: OWNERS AND OPERATORS OF LAND DISPOSAL FACILITIES MUST SUBMIT LEAK DETECTION, DOUBLE LINER AND LEACHATE COLLECTION SYSTEM AND/OR CONSTRUCTION QUALITY ASSURANCE INFORMATION AS PART OF THE FACILITY PERMIT APPLICATION, PERMIT MODIFICATION, OR INTERIM STATUS PLAN. EPA WILL USE THE INFORMATION TO DETERMINE COMPLIANCE WITH THE STANDARDS UNDER 40 CFR PART 264 AND 265.
