Abstract: OWNERS/OPERATORS OF OIL- AND COAL-FIRED STEAM GENERATING UNITS WITH HE INPUT CAPACITIES OF 10 TO 100 MILLION BTU/HOUR MUST MONITOR S02 EMISSIONS AND SUBMIT QUARTERLY COMPLIANCE REPORTS. MONITORING TECHNIQU VARY BY FUEL TYPE OF UNIT SIZE. MONITORING OR OPACITY AND SUBMISSION OF QUARTERLY EXCESS EMISSIONS REPORTS ARE REQUIRED FOR COAL-, WOOD-, AND RESIDUAL OIL-FIRED UNITS GREATER THAN 30 MILLION BTU/HOUR HEAT INPUT CAPACITY.
