Abstract: THIS FINAL RULE CHANGE TO 10 CFR 21.21 WILL CLARIFY THE PROCEDURES FOR REPORTING OF DEFECTS AND WILL REDUCE DUPLICATIVE REPORTING, ESTABLISH UNIFORM TIME LIMITS FOR REPORTING, AND CLARIFY RECORDS RETENTION REQUIREMENTS.
