Abstract: PROVIDES DATA TO ESTIMATE THE NUMBER OF PRODUCERS, PLANT PRODUCTION, SALES, AND VALUE AND AREA USED FOR PRODUCTION OF PRINCIPAL FLORICULTURE COMMODITIES. THE NASS STATISTICS ARE USED BY FEDERAL AGENCIES SUCH AS THE INTERNATIONAL TRAD COMMISSION AND THE U.S. TRADE REPRESENTATIVE. THEY ARE ALSO USED IN GATT TALKS. THESE STATISTICS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME INPUT TO THE WATE QUALITY/FOOD SAFETY DATA BASE.
