Abstract: THE PURPOSE OF THE MOSS MOTOR VEHICLE STUDY IS TO IDENTIFY THE BARRIER TO THE SALE OF U.S.-MADE VEHICLES IN JAPAN. THE CONSUMER SURVEY WILL RESEARCH THE AUTOMOBILE NEEDS AND EXPECTATIONS OF THE JAPANESE MARKET. THE DEALER SURVEY WILL STUDY DEALER BEHAVIOR AND ATTITUDES TOWARD DUAL DEALERSHIPS IN JAPAN.
