sub-minimum certifications, given the fact that the vas majority of
these renewals are approved and less frequent collection would
reduce burden. Upon the next submission of this package for PRA
clearance, DOL shall use its analysis to either make the collection
le frequent than annual (e.g., bi-annual) or explain why continued
annual collection is necessary. If DOL proposes to decrease the
frequency, revisions to the underlying program regulations would be
needed to implement that action.

SECTION 14(B) OF THE FAIR LABOR
STANDARDS ACT, IN PART, AUTHORIZES THE EMPLOYMENT OF FULL-TIME
STUDENTS IN HIGHER EDUCATION AT SUBMINIMUM WAGES UNDER CERTAIN
CONDITIONS. THE WH-201-MIS APPLICATION FORM PROVIDES THE
INFORMATION NECESSARY TO ASCERTAIN WHETHER THE REQUIREMENTS OF
SECTION 14(B) HAVE BEEN MET.
