Terms of Clearance: This request, as amended by the changes described in Education's written response to OMB's comments, is approved for one year. OMB accepts Education's assertion regarding the impracticality of developing standardized program assessment indicators for use at this time. However, OMB expects development of standardized indicators for future use. Accordingly, work should begin on this effort and the results of the work should be reflected in the next request for OMB approval of this performance report.

Abstract: GRANTEES UNDER THE LAW-RELATED EDUCATION PROGRAM ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMI A PERFORMANCE STATUS REPORT ANNUALLY. REPORTS ARE USED TO MONITOR COMPLIANCE WITH TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF GRANT AWARDS. THE LAW-RELATED EDUCATION PROGRAM INSTRUCTIONS FOR PERFORMANCE STATUS REPORTS ARE UTILIZED BY GRANTEES TO SUBMIT REPORTS.
