Abstract: THE EIA-878, A DAILY TELEPHONE SURVEY, WILL BE USED TO COLLECT INFORMATION ON THE RETAIL CASH PRICE OF SELF-SERVE UNLEADED REGULAR GASOLINE ON A DAILY BASIS. DATA WILL BE USED BY THE EIA TO MONITOR PRICES WHEN WEATHER, NATURAL DISASTERS, OR OTHER CATASTROPHIC EVENTS DICTATE THE NEED. RESPONDENTS WILL BE COMPANIES THAT OWN RETAIL MOTOR GASOLINE STATIONS. (STANDBY)
