Abstract: MANUFACTURERS ARE REQUIRED TO PRODUCE AND VESSEL OPERATORS ARE REQUIRE TO USE INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIAL FOR LIFESAVING, FIRE PROTECTION, AND EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT. THE MATERIAL IS USED DURING TRAINING SESSIONS AND DURING EMERGENCIES. IT IS NEEDED BECAUSE CREW MEMBERS MUST HAVE COMPLETE INFORMATION ON PROPER OPERATION OF THE EQUIPMENT.
