Abstract: INFORMATION COLLECTED BY NDATUS ON THE LOCATION, SCOPE, AND CHARACTERISTICS OF ALL KNOWN DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE TREATMENT AND PREVENTION PROGRAMS IN THE UNITED STATES IS NEEDED TO ASSESS THE NATUR AND EXTENT OF THESE RESOURCES, TO IDENTIFY GAPS IN SERVICE, AND TO PROVIDE A DATA BASE FOR TREATMENT REFERRALS.
