Abstract: THIS STUDY, WHICH WILL AFFECT CHILD-BEARING WOMEN OF THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES, IS NECESSARY TO DETERMINE THE PREVALENCE AND PATTERNS O CIGARETTE, ALCOHOL, AND DRUG USE DURING PREGNANCY. THE RESULTS WILL B USED BY NIDA, ONDCP, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, CONCERNED ORGANIZATIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS TO DIRECT THEIR ACTIVITIES AND ESTABLISH POLICY.
