THE PROPOSED LABORATORY RESEARCH WILL
IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF DATA COLLECTION BY EXAMINING THE
PSYCHOLOGICAL AND COGNITIVE ASPECTS OF METHODS AND PROCEDURES SUCH
AS: QUESTIONNAIRE CONSTRUCTION, SURVEY TECHNOLOGY AND INTERVIEW
PROCESSES. THE PLANNED RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES WILL BE
CONDUCTED DURING FY 1991 THROUGH FY 199 WITH THE GOAL OF IMPROVING
OVERALL DATA QUALITY THROUGH IMPROVED PROCEDURES.
