Abstract: UNDER THE NDSL PROGRAM, INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION MAY RECEIVE FEDERAL FUNDS TO MAKE LOANS TO STUDENTS. THE REGULATIONS ESTABLISH PROPER ADMINISTRATIVE STANDARDS AND LOAN COLLECTION PROCEDURES WHICH PROTECT THE FEDERAL FISCAL INTEREST AND STIPULATE DISCLOSURE AND RECORDKEEPING REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.
