Abstract: A SPECIAL PERMIT PROCEDURE HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED FOR ALL IMPORTERS OF CYNOMOLGUS, AFRICAN GREEN, OR RHESUS MONKEYS. REGISTERED IMPORTERS OF THESE NONHUMAN PRIMATES MUST SUBMIT A WRITTEN PLAN TO THE DIRECTOR OF CDC, 30 DAYS BEFORE IMPORTATION, SPECIFYING IMPORTATION PROCEDURES AND QUARANTINE PROCESSES.
