Abstract: EPA USES ALL THE COMPLIANCE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESONDENTS FOR OVERALL PROGRAM MANAGEMENT, INCLUDING POLICY DEVELOPMENT, BUDGETING, A RESPONDING TO CONGRESSIONAL INQUIRIES. FACILITIES DISCHARGING POLLUTANTS INTO NATIONAL WATERS MUST HAVE AN NPDES PERMIT TO MAINTAIN RECORDS TO DEMONSTRATE COMPLIANCE WITH PERMIT CONDITIONS.
