Abstract: THE NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT FOR FISCAL YEARS 1992 AND 1993 REQUIRES THAT THE COMMISSION CONDUCT STUDIES AS MAY BE REQUIRED TO ASSESS THE PUBLIC ATTITUDES IN THE UNITED STATES ON THE USE OF WOMEN I THE MILITARY. THIS STUDY IS NEEDED TO ALLOW THE COMMISSIONERS TO MAKE INFORMED RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE PRESIDENT.
