Abstract: GOVERNMENT LOAN, DEBT SETTLEMENT, COMMUNITY, BUSINESS' IN ACCORDANCE WITH P.L. 101-82, DISASTER ASSISTANCE ACT OF 1989, THIS REGULATION IS BEING AMENDED TO ALLOW INDIAN TRIBES AND TRIBAL CORPORATIONS TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR THE REDUCTION OF THE UNPAID PRINCIPAL BALANCES ON LOANS TO THE CURRENT FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THE LAND PURCHASED WITH THE PROCEEDS OF FMHA LOANS.
