THE LMRDA REQUIRES EACH COVERED LABOR ORGANIZATION TO FILE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORTS. THE PROPOSED ABBREVIATED ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT (FORM LM-4) PROVIDES ADEQUATE INFORMATION TO ENSURE PROPER DISCLOSURE OF UNION FINANCES, WHILE REDUCING THE REPORTING BURDEN ON SMALL UNIONS WITH ANNUAL RECEIPTS OF LESS THAN $10,000.
