Abstract: THESE REQUIREMENTS/RECORDS ARE DIRECTED TOWARD ASSURING THE SAFETY/HEALTH OF DIVERS EXPOSED TO HYPERBARIC CONDITIONS DURING AND AFTER UNDERSEA ACTIVITIES. ADDITIONALLY, THE SAFETY STANDARDS REQUIRING RECORDS PERTAINING TO DIVING EQUIPMENT ARE INTENDED TO BRING ABOUT A SAFE WORKPLACE AND, THUS, BETTER ASSURE THE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY OF THE DIVERS.
