In accordance
with the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act and 5 CFR 1320,
Form DSP-82, Application for Passport by Mail, is approved until
December 1993 with the following conditions. The State Departme
shall remove these "not-mandatory" elements from Form DSP-82: (1)
occupation (2) travel plans (3) length of stay Furthermore, the
language for the emergency notification section shall be changed to
say: "If you wish, you may supply the name, address and number of a
person in the United States not traveling with you in case of an
emergency."
