amended by ED's 10/9/92 memorandum to OMB. Approval is conditional
on the need for ED to make any appropriate revisions prior to the
close of the public comment period, 10/21. ED will revise the
entire application system for the 1994-95 SAR, to make the SAR and
FAF more complimentary and easy to use; ED has agreed to inform OMB
of the revisions as they are planned, prior to the next PRA
submission. Last EDshall revise the burden disclosure statement
that appears in SAR comments, to request that public comments be
sent to ED and OMB rather than ED or OMB, to conform with the PRA's
implementing regulations.

THE STUDENT AID REPORT (SAR) IS USED
TO NOTIFY APPLICANTS OF THEIR ELIGIBILITY TO RECEIVE FEDERAL
FINANCIAL AID. THE FORM IS SUBMITTED B THE APPLICANT TO THE
