Abstract: THE ECONOMIC AND AGRICULTURE CENSUSES PROVIDE THE ONLY SOURCE OF PERIODIC, COMPARABLE, DETAILED DATA OF THE STRUCTURE OF OUTLYING AREAS PRODUCTION, DISTRICUTION, AND SERVICE SECTORS. THE 5-YEAR ECONOMIC/ AGRICULTURE CENSUSES PROVIDE BENCHMARKS FOR INDEXES OF INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION, BUSINESS ACTIVITIES, SALES, AND VARIOUS AGRICULTURAL PROGRAMS, ALL OF WHICH ARE ESSENTIAL FOR UNDERSTANDING CURRENT ECONOMI
