Abstract: FERC-530 IS AN APPLICATION TO THE COMMISSION TO OBTAIN AUTHORIZATION TO ABANDON THE SALE OF NATURAL GAS WHICH IS COMMITTED OR DEDICATED AS PRESCRIBED IN SECTION 2(18) OF THE NATURAL GAS POLICY ACT. THE PROPOS RULEMAKING (RM89-16) WILL AMEND THE COMMISSION'S REGULATIONS TO REFLEC PROVISIONS OF THE DECONTROL ACT.
