Abstract: SECTION 8(A) OF THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION ACT REQUIRES EPA TO PROVIDE AN AWARDS PROGRAM. THIS APPLICATION IS THE MOST PRACTICAL METHOD FOR OBTAINING INFORMATION FROM QUALIFIED CANDIDATES. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED BY THE ADVISORY COUNCIL TO NOMINATE THE INDIVIDUALS AS STATES UNDER SECTION 8(C).
