Abstract: THIS IS A REQUEST BY IRS'S STATISTICS OF INCOME DIVISION TO CONDUCT A SURVEY OF A SMALL PORTION OF THE LARGEST U.S. CORPORATIONS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF ADVANCE TAX DATA BY COLLECTING EXISTING TAX INFORMATION EARLIER THAN REGULAR PROCESSING ALLOWS. ADVANCE TAX DATA HAS BEEN REQUESTED BY THE BUREAU OF ECONOMIC ANALYSIS, THE OFFICE OF TAX ANALYSIS, AND THE JOINT COMMITTEE ON TAXATION.
